• About : Dr. M. S. Kumar is Prime Medical Center’s Specialist Endocrinologist and has a long, impressive international career. Dr Kumar was trained in Endocrinology & Diabetes at one of the premier institutes of India i.e. Seth GS Medical College & King Edward memorial Hospital, Mumbai. He worked as a Lecturer there for 1 yr before moving to UAE in 2005. He went for advanced training in Endocrinology at Diabetes & Metabolic Bone Clinic at University of Basel, Switzerland & Diabetes–Endocrinology Centre of Western New York. He was awarded - Fellow of American College of Endocrinology in 2010 at Boston, USA. Currently he is affiliated with RAK Medical & Health Sciences University as Adjunct faculty in Internal Medicine since 2008 to till date. More recently, he has spent the past seven years in one of the major Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, as the Specialist Endocrinologist & Diabetologist. He has established the first Endocrine department in RAK. He was the pioneer in starting the Endocrine & Diabetes based CME programme at RAK in association with AKMG & RAK Medical & Health Sciences University. He has presented scientific papers in various International conferences and has been a guest speaker in various CME programmes all over the UAE.
